The local radio station KMXQ went off the air a few months ago. I do not know the real reason but if you asked me I would say it was because they played non-stop cubicle country fusion garbage and everyone stopped giving a shit ten years ago and their inertia finally ran out. I made an S-band feed horn for my dish.
I based it off of the plans mentioned previously.
Link so I don't blow up your friends page anymore.It outputs to an N-connector. Around the central feed are scalar rings to better match the feedhorn to the dish's short focal length. An evenly illuminated dish is a happy dish ( Read more... )

I got the dish! It's 2.4 meters with (relatively) little hail damage. I'm hoping I can hammer and shrink the dents mostly away. I need to devise a feed horn for 2.4ghz. I'm thinking some variataion on a cantenna might work.
