Two nights away

Tomorrow afternoon I leave for New Orleans for a meeting on Wednesday. I'll be back Wednesday night, but I am so sad to be leaving S behind. It will be the first time I have been away from her for an extended period of time. She is having a tough time getting to sleep tonight, and it is the first night her crying has really bothered me. I think it is just because I won't see her for a couple of days, and I wish I had given her a few more snuggles before she went down for the night.

I haven't even started packing yet, and I miss her already.
