Ponyo!
So I went and saw Ponyo with my friends on Wednesday, and I thought it was pretty good, cute and sweet like most Miyazaki's works, but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. My friends and I decided that it was aimed at a younger audience then we'd been expecting, and there was little dialogue (which also led us to believe it was for younger kids, because a lot of it was shown through the character's actions more then what they said). It's not something I'll be buying though, which is a little sad because I had such high hopes! Hopefully the next one will be better!
Did anyone notice though, that for a Disney movie (or at least it's published by Disney here) it wasn't really marketed much, I only say one or two commercials for it and I was watching for it, that's not to say I haven't been stalking sites once I heard it was being released in English.
