This morning a woman yelled at me for not HANDING her a pen. Apparently, gently placing it on the counter in front of her was really rude. Worthy of lecturing me about how rude I am, and confronting another customer in the parking lot to tell them about how rude I am. I could understand if I was cranky or rushed about things, but I was polite and friendly and I PLACED the pen in front of her...I didn't drop it or throw it or anything. Cunt.
I hate my job. For every enjoyable customer, there are about 7 that piss me off. I've never had such a terrible retail job. At blockbuster at least I was in a position to tell someone to leave if they pissed me off. I have to suck it up here. Good thing they are paying me way more than minimum wage.
