I know I said I would write the positive things that should be done with titles, but more things to avoid kept popping up...

Do these, and avoid the flames:

1.Test your title on someone else
2.Run a search on your title. If you get bunches of same or similar matches, change it
3.Use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammer

Ok, I know that writing is an acquired skill. Not everyone will be amazing on their first story. Still, posting your story up for other people to read means that your story is open to comments and criticism. If you don't want reviewers nagging at you for your mistakes, why not learn to fix them beforehand? I thought I'd explore some of these ( Read more... )
