Handphones are not important: Privacy First! - KAT-TUN

How has KAT-TUN been lately? Aside from being so busy with filming dramas and talkshows, KAT-TUN has released their latest single, BIRTH, on November 30th. Privacy is still number one for KAT-TUN, no matter how busy they are. They prefer to have no phones during their break because handphones are disturbing their free time.

epop: How are you lately?

Kame: I have cold fever lately. My eyes are itchy and people around me said I have cold fever. But I shut them up by telling them that my eyes are itchy because my hair is too long that it can sometimes touch my eyes. Whenever I have an outside interview, I'll pinch my nose to avoid sneezing. It's not possible for me to have cold fever!

Ueda: The same thing happens to me! My eyes are itchy, my nose is blocked and I can hardly breathe, and I have sore throat whenever I'm breathing through my mouth. I'm getting better compare to last year but it's still hard for me. I didn't take any prevention nor seeing a doctor. I don't like the environment in a hospital but if there are beautiful doctors, I will voluntarily go and see them (laugh). But I have never heard of beautiful doctors in any hospital.

Maru: I'm an MC in Shuuichi. I have to wake up at 4 a.m everyday for the shoot. It's hard to wake up so early, so I have to adapt it in a short time. My eyes are swollen every time I check the records back.

Junno: I've acted together with Nishikido Ryo before in a drama entitled Inu o Kau to Iu Koto. I only have a few scenes in it but I believe, if I have more scenes, that drama won't be as touching as it was. A lot of things happened lately. A lot of things should be settled but doing nothing aside from thinking won't solve the problems. So, I want to create an environment that can solve the problems, together with the others.

Koki: A veterinary gave me a Budgerigar (a type of parrot) that I've wanted since ever. It can talk in just 2 weeks. It loves music channel so much as it can sing. It used to be so engrossed watching Yamapi's PV. It loves makings sounds in my room and even sings together with me whenever I start to sing. So, I can't record my song in my room. Aside from Budgerigar, I have 2 dogs, a monkey and tropical fish. I'm so busy that I don't have times to enjoy!

epop: What situation makes you comfortable?

Kame: I feel the happiest whenever I am with my best friends, family and friends! I won't be happy if I am in a place I'm not familiar with. Questions like "Why I have to be here" will replay on my mind. It's not like I'm not comfortable, but I need some times to adapt the new situation. At time like this, I'll stay quiet. If I am surrounded with my best friends, such situation won't happen!

Maru: The couch at my house makes me comfortable. 5 years ago, Taguchi Junnosuke accompanied me to buy the couch. I love it since the first time I lay on it!

Junno: I'll feel comfortable whenever I am surrounded with friends who can easily adapt the situation we're in. I prefer to be with them compared to being alone. But lately, I prefer to be alone so that I can read and study Korean in the morning. I can hardly feel uncomfortable because I can easily suit the new environment. But, I won't feel comfortable if I have flu when I’m working because the others have to tolerate with me.

Ueda: I'm comfortable when I have my best friends with me or whenever I am in familiar places. Even though I love being in comfortable places, I will also feel happy if I have the chance to go to places I've never been to. I pay a lot of attention to those new places during my first time there and that places should not be as comfortable as I think it will. What a weird feeling I have!

Koki: To pay attention to every single thing around us is tiring. That's why I love to stay at home with my pets. I won't feel comfortable to work with strangers (people he doesn't know well). If it's work, I have to suit myself with the new environment and people but it's still hard to go and eat with people I meet for the first time.

epop: Where do you always put your handphones when you are sleeping?

Kame: On a table beside my bed. I always set the alarm and plug in the charger to charge my phone. I seldomly use my phone actually. I don't use my phone at all during my break and not many people contact me. If there're friends who called me, I'll call them back later. Even though I feel a bit guilty, I really appreciate my break/days off.

Maru: Beside my pillow. I always set the alarm too. Once I wake up, I'll use the phone to browse through the news. It's such a great starter for a new day.

Junno: By the window pane beside my bed. It's a bit high so I have to really stretch my hands to reach my phone. This way, I can feel a bit fresh when I wake up. I seldomly use my phone when I'm home. During my days off, I'll put my phone in the living room.

Ueda: Beside my pillow. Before I sleep, I'll make a call or just play with the phone. I hate being alone at night. So, I'll make calls to my friends every night. I hardly fall asleep while talking on the phone but when I feel like sleeping, I'll tell them I want to sleep and stop talking without really mind what hot topics we're talking about. I'm lucky that they don't really mind because all of them know I'm that kind of person.

Koki: Under my bed. It's hard to place it beside my pillow. I don't like to use my phone that much so I don't use my phone at all in my house. I'll check my mail and will turn it off when I'm done. I always neglect my phone and voice mails. Handphone is not needed when I'm not working.
