Game Night

Last night we went to Amy's church's game night, which was fun. I played pente, which is probably best described as a cross between go and connect-4. It's one of these things that's incredibly simple on paper, but end up requiring a lot of concentration. We played a few two-player games, and then recruited a third player, which completely changed the strategies. After that, I played spoons, which is dangerous. And then a few hands of Apples to Apples, which you all know about.

This evening, I decided to buy my own copy of pente, as well as a few movies (Casablanca, The Prestige and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari), which will be fun.
