She twirls it around. “Um…”
“I mean,” he begins, “it’s totally badass, but I thought I was the badass.”
Tina shrugs.
“You don’t say much.” It’s almost a question.
“I guess. . .my hair does the talking for me.”
“So you’re feeling festive? Patriotic?”
“Not quite.”
Puck grins and kisses her.
“I wasn’t finished. When you do that it’s kind of like. . .fireworks? Right? And my hair is. . .” She examines a piece.
“Like fireworks. As long as it isn’t your coming-out statement. The rainbow. . .I was concerned.”
