For people in places like Lima, Spring Break wasn't really an option due to lack of funds.
The Glee Club spent its rehearsal prior to Spring Break bemoaning this, so Artie hesitantly offered his pool for a small party, not expecting people to agree. Strangely enough, everyone had.
It wasn't a traditional Spring Break, booze-fest event. Everyone was currently playing in the pool, and Artie - much to everyone's bemusement - had won most of the games, and there was no alcohol involved. They were all laughing, joking around, and just having fun.
It was a good 'Spring Break,' that year.
