Why did I bother?

The Oregon Bariatric Center called me a little while ago.  They have cancelled my appointment because their surgeon had a "family emergency."  Which is fine considering that they sent the lab paperwork to my old address AFTER I gave them my new address and the nurse read it back to me.  I think I'm just going to call them back and tell them that I will do follow-up care with my physician.  At least he doesn't lose my appointments and actually treats me as if I'm a person.
