They're All Right by Me!
My surgeon warned me when he told me last Wednesday I needed a sleep study before my surgery that I need to be persistent or it could be a month or so before they would see me. The sleep doctor I saw on Friday told me if they hadn't called me to schedule my study in a week to let him know because they can be slow to respond.
Today they called me and had a cancellation for tonight and wanted to know if I could come in. She didn't seem to understand why I was so excited to have a sleep study!
Just to recap: Talked to my PCP about the possibility of WLS on April 3rd and was approved on May 1st and it looks like I will be having surgery in July. I can only believe this is going so fast because I am meant to have this surgery.
