So goodbye my almost lover. We could have been great together but I now realise that it is a hopeless dream. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think of you, no matter how hard I try. I wish I could just forget about you. I should have known that in the end you would bring me nothing but sorrow. Almost lovers always do.
