It's WHOSE-A-THON time again!!

It's time for the summer Whose-a-thon again, which means a whole lot of plot bunnies, new stories and maybe even a little art-FOR YOU AND BY YOU-the wonderful members of our community!
Let’s heat up those summer nights with some naughty smut or cool off with a little dip in some romantic fluff. It’s up to you! Curious? Come on in and take a look!
Whose Thon is it Anyway? is a writing and drawing challenge. Prompts are offered up by the members of the community, and then other members may choose these prompts to write/illustrate for the pleasure of the prompter and all who wish to see.
If you've played in the past, take note that we're doing things a little differently, so please take the time to read over the new rules. :)
The challenge timeline will be:
•June 8 to June 22 - Submitting Prompts
•June 22 - LAST PROMPT SUBMISSIONS WILL BE TAKEN
•June 25 to August 17 - Claiming Prompts
•June 25 to August 17 - Writing/Drawing Entries
•August 17 - ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE
•August 21 - Mods will begin posting stories/art
•~August 30 - (Tentative, depending on the number of submissions) All authors and artists will be revealed!

1. SUMBITTING PROMPTS: June 8th-June 22nd. In a post following this one, people will be urged to submit prompts. Prompts will be taken for TWO WEEKS, ending on Saturday, June 22nd. Prompts will be given in secrecy, posted as comments which will be screened or sent in through PM to clayangel.
You may submit as many prompts as you like. They can be as vague or specific as you like, mentioning specific pairings or leaving them out as you see fit, simply requesting nothing but a pairing or even a mood for a fic. It’s totally up to you and what you’d like to see. However, please attempt to keep prompts brief, between one and three sentences. And in my experience, the more specific prompts are more fun. ^_^
2. CLAIMING PROMPTS: June 25th-August 17th. Starting the evening of Monday, June 25th, a master list of prompts will be revealed for all to peruse. Starting that same day, and continuing until the ultimate Thon due date, August 17th, you are free to claim a prompt by leaving a comment in the prompt claiming post. These comments will be screened.
Further claiming notes:
•You may claim ONE PROMPT at this time. Subsequent prompts may only be claimed after your first one has been written/drawn and submitted. The same goes for any more after that.
•If a prompt is just not working for you, you CAN drop it. Just let me or Rycolfan know so we can put the prompt back on the market, and you'll be free to choose a new one.
•Each prompt may be claimed a total of FOUR times. Twice by authors and twice by artists, at which point the prompt will become unavailable. When claiming a prompt, please specify if you are claiming as an author or an artist.
3. WRITING/SUBMITTING ENTRIES: June 25th-August 17th. After you claim a prompt, the moderator will reply to you, verifying your claim. TO THIS EXTENT, YOU MUST HAVE A WAY FOR US TO CONTACT YOU, PREFERABLY THROUGH PM. So make sure your privacy settings are such where you can receive PMs from people not on your f-list.
***ALL STORIES, NO MATTER WHAT DATE THEY ARE CLAIMED, WILL BE DUE NO LATER THAN AUGUST 17TH.
You will submit your stories THROUGH EMAIL to rycolfan at the comm email address, wlfanfictionmod@gmail.com***
Further submission notes:
•rycolfan will be with point person from August onward, so at that point, any questions or concerns should be directed to her.
•When submitting prompts, it would be very helpful to include any and all html tags for formatting purposes. (aka italics, bold, etc) Otherwise, assume your story will be posted without these.
•After your story/art has been submitted, rycolfan will email you back to let you know she has received your submission. IF YOU DO NOT HEAR BACK WITHIN 24 HOURS, PLEASE MAKE AN EFFORT TO CONTACT HER AGAIN.
•After your story/art has been submitted AND you've heard back from the mod to verify we have it, you are free to choose another prompt!
4. POSTING/AUTHOR REVEAL: August 21st-August 30th (tentative). YOU WILL NOT POST YOUR OWN STORY/ART. Stories will be posted by the moderators for the purpose of anonymity.
Readers are encouraged to guess/discuss possible authors throughout posting, HOWEVER, DO NOT CONFIRM OR DENY THAT YOU ARE THE AUTHOR/ARTIST OF ANY PARTICULAR STORY/DRAWING. A master list of authors/artists and their work will be posted at the conclusion of the Whose-a-thon revealing who wrote/drew which piece.
Further reveal notes:
•Authors-DO NOT REPLY TO COMMENTS ON YOUR STORIES UNTIL AFTER THE MASTER LIST HAS BEEN POSTED. It takes all the fun out of guessing if you spoil the surprise!

Q: So wait, what do I do when I'm done my story?
A: Email it to Rycolfan! Once more, the email we are using is wlfanfictionmod@gmail.com. Rycolfan will be the one doing the actual posting.
Q: Can I/When can I post my story to my own journal/tumblr/another community/etc.?
A: You may post your story elsewhere ONLY AFTER the authors have been revealed.
Q: What if I don't know html?

Q: Why anonymous?
A: It's more fun, first of all! ^_^ We get to have the extra fun of trying to figure out who the author is. Anonymity also allows for more creativity, and it might get some lurkers to try their hand at writing/drawing without the same pressures that putting their name out there does. And lastly, this means we get a good, solid week or two of fresh, new stories! Let's finish the summer off with a bang with a TON of new fic!!
