So there's this rule that says everyone should go to the hospital at least once in their adult life, right?  And since there's also this rule about wisdom teeth supposing to get more potentially problematic as you get older, I just combined both rules and had myself a Memorial Day Weekend Staycation at UPMC Shadyside.  It certainly was an

Can I bug you for dentist & oral surgeon recommendations? I, too, have to get my wisdom teeth dealt with (and my last dentist was bad for a lot of reasons).

Sure, but with the caveats that i haven't really shopped around at all, and i mostly like my dentist and (current) oral surgeon because they saved me from some acute problems when other dentists or oral surgeons seemed to be ignoring my plights. My dentist is Dr. Schmeler from Shadyside Smiles, and my oral surgeon is Dr. Davies from Pittsburgh Oral Surgery.

Actually, caveat number three is that i haven't even had the wisdom tooth extracted yet, so i have no data on that front. But Dr. Davies has done surgery on me quite successfully, as will be detailed in the fullness of time (i.e., when i get around to posting the rest of the story.. maybe tomorrow?).
