Loved this ceremony. Absolutely loved it. Hugh Jackman gave the whole thing an air of classic Hollywood that I really appreciated. Let's see, what else...Oh, I totally misted up at Heath Ledger's win, mourned over the shanking of The Dark Knight, and celebrated the wins of WALL-E and Slumdog Millionaire. Kate Winslet's speech was the sweetest thing I've ever seen, and it was about time. She's such a classy, beautiful lady. She totally deserved it.
Hmmm. I'm in the middle of watching Eastern Promises right now (unresolved sexual tension for the mother fucking win) so I'm totally multitasking. Perhaps there will be more on the awards later.
