As she presses the shutter button on her camera, Dianna already knows that it's going to be a beautiful image.
She loves that Lea is so full of energy that she sometimes makes the Energizer Bunny seem tired. She loves that Lea is usually excited and loud and talking a hundred miles a minute. She loves that most of the time, Lea looks like sex on fire.
But moments like this? When Lea is quiet and serene and beautiful?
These moments take her breath away.
Dianna lowers her camera and smiles gently as she steps over to Lea. She smooths a hand over her hair before slipping her arm around Lea's waist. She kisses the exposed skin of Lea's neck then settles her chin on Lea's shoulder, their faces close. She can feel Lea smile as her arm slides along hers until her fingers grip Dianna's tightly on her hip. She tilts her head and rests it against Dianna's as they stand silently for several long minutes.
"I love you, baby." Lea whispers and squeezes her fingers gently.
Dianna turns her head to once more kiss Lea's soft skin. "I love you, too."
Sometimes, Dianna can't believe this is her life. She smiles softly. It's a beautiful day, and she's holding a beautiful woman in her arms. Lea is her heart. Her love.
