have you guys seen this 'lonelygirl15' youtube thing? It's the most viewed series of video blogs on youtube about some girl in some unnamed place. I've watched a few and they're not that terribly interesting but it came out recently that some production company was behind making all these videos. Which makes me think that they're all some setup for something bigger and, if they are, their entire campaign was fucking brilliant as it was supported by millions of people they don't know on youtube.
The real question is how the first few made it through the millions of shit that's put on youtube every day. Viral Marketing is really facinating.
