Well, it's happened.
The unified governmental freakout over 9/11 and the subsequent security measures put in place have finally effected me outside of the airport. Enforced by none other than mall security rent-a-cops.
So as most of you know, I work at the Rainforest Cafe, and last sunday I got to work about 10 mins early so I was sitting in my car and eating some food that I had brought with me. About two bites in, a mall cop pulls up behind my car and walks up to my window. This police academy reject on a powertrip then proceeds to inform me that, and these are his exact words, "That due to 9-1-1 you are not allowed to eat food in your car."
This fucker then proceeds to tell me that if I wanted to continue eating, I had to leave my car and do it inside the mall.
Can someone tell me how eating a hamburger is a security threat? I didn't want to start any shit with this guy but I mean for god sakes, It's my car, and it's my Burger King, and I should have a right to eat it before I go into work, not having some fucker tell me what to do because a 21 year old kid in a rainforest cafe uniform must look like a HUGE threat to homeland security.
