I Was Never That Good With Words Anyways
Saw Lucero tonight...they were fucking amazing. This show was 100x better than the last time they played the Ottobar. The band had tons of energy and the vibe was incredible. Plus they played for a solid two hours. I met up with Andy, BoSox John, Song, April, and Lauren at the show. It was great seeing all of them and being able to rock out.
The best part of the night was when the bassist, who is already known for his quotes ("Can I get a lil mor of that there bass drum maestro?") Saunters up to the mic inbetween songs and says "It's great to be south of DC where people know how to act." With this show being in Baltimore, the entire crowd bursts out laughing as the bassist soon realizes his mistake.
Andy was drunk out of his head, Lucero was taking shots all night, and the show was kickass.
