C'est la vie

So I had my first two days of film shoots yesterday and today. Yesterday, I can fairly say, was the most miserable day of filming I've ever been a part of. It snowed all day. And we were out side, all day. But by noon or so the snow decided not to stick anymore. So it kept snowing on us, but turned the ground into mud instead. So I tromped around in the mud for 6 hours freezing my ass off. Today though, was the exact opposite. It was the nicest day I've seen in weeks here. Everyone was in a great mood and I recorded some of the best sound I've ever done. Luckily tomorrow is an interior shoot so it shouldnt be as bad.

I miss baseball soo much. The Giants had their first spring training game today...so did the Orioles. Whats worse is that no one over here knows anything about it so I can't talk the game like I used to back home.

I started rolling cigarettes to save money...this time by hand. I just started today and I'm so bad at it. I guess it's from all those joints I didn't smoke in high school...

This is totally random and way off topic...but I was just listening to ATDI's "Hulahoop Wounds" on In Casino Out and there is this one line that goes "hook and sinker" but to me, every time it sounds like the line is "Jose Canseco" /random

Julie is mailing me the new Mars Volta CD and I love her for it.

Ted Leo is sunday and the show is only 4 pounds. I'm way excited...maybe more than I should be. Only downside is this crap band called Nathaniel Green is opening...I saw them last week when they played with the good life and it sounds like shit pop crap that you'd hear on Mix 107.3 or something. Apparently they have a racket on getting opening spots for US indie groups.

It's fun waking up at 7 for a film shoot and talking to people from back home where it's only 2am.
