Almost forgot about this thing completely... eventually I'll say something worthwhile on this but for now, here's a post to keep things updated:
On May 26th, I've officially graduated from UNH. I've been home for about two weeks plus now. The plan right now for me is to go to Hofstra for my master's in Speech Communication and Rhetorical Studies. I sent the application over yesterday and now I've got to fill out the whole thing completely so it can be sent over to them. Next step is finding a full time job for the summer at least -- that starts tomorrow. Once I get that out of the way and once I'm hopefully accepted into Hofstra's masters program, then everything kinda falls into place. Even then, I'd like to stay as busy at home as I was in New Haven. So far I've got things to do in my room that can keep me busy -- video games, wrestling DVDs, books, the first 4 seasons of The Shield on DVD -- but the next step is trying to be busy outside the house. I'd like to find a gym so I can stay in shape consistently as well. I'm still playing basketball on Friday nights, which has done a lot to bring my weight down and the house has none of my usual junk food and it won't until I drop to at least 180 -- I'm approx. 20 pounds away. Once I get the home life straight -- the new life, at least -- then I can figure out when to go to Vegas -- my mom's graduation present to me. I'm also going to see The Police at the Meadowlands with Eileen in August -- that should be pretty cool. By the end of the month, my summer should be pretty busy... should be, but anything can happen and it usually does.
