5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?:
Either London because I’ve wanted to live there since I can remember, or somewhere in South America because the culture has become progressively more interesting to me, and a year seems a good amount of time to spend there
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: A quote from the Velvet Underground song “I’m set Free”, “I’m set free to find a new illusion”. I was a bit obsessed with the Velvet Underground and Lou Reed when I started my Livejournal
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: Gonna have to say Christmas, I love the way it feels
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter): Gabriel Garcia Marquez- Love in a Time of Cholera, Vladmir Nabokov- Lolita, Mervyn Peake-The Gormenghast Trilogy
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school?
I enjoy any subject that isn’t a language (and those only because I suck at them) last semester my best subjects were Architectural History and Comparitive Literature, in highschool my best class consistently was Art, followed by History, does that help?
10. Why are you a HP fan?
Because they’re an enjoyable easy read you can escape into while you read them, and think about when you’re done, as well as the fact that since everyone reads them you always have plenty of people to discuss with
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?:
Order of the Phoenix, I felt like things were finally really getting in motion, and Rowling was really comfortable with her characters, as were her readers
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
“Reparo____” I don’t break things that often, but when I do I get really upset, it would be nice to know that it wasn’t too big a deal
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?:
Probably Ravenclaw, when it comes down to it I pride myself on a certain level of intelligence (though it may not always come out in my Live Journal)
