4b. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: Perfectionistic, passionate, overly feminine.
5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: I'd rather live all over the world for a year than settle down, but if I was going to be shackled to one given place I'd have it be warm and tropical with beautiful scenery. (Asthetics are important to me.)
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: I happen to have a "thing" for the ocean and am waltzing around in life with the given name "Coral". It seemed somehow appropriate.
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: Does summer holdiay count?
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter): Arabian Nights and Vanity Fair with Memoirs of a Geisha and The Importance of Being Earnest tied for third.
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school? In uni? Politics. Before that, history and current events.
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be? Fess up: you gave in and read a slew of fanfiction before writing HBP and was consequentially mortified by what you found, isn't that right?
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: The Order of the Phoenix. Harry isn't immune to Voldemort any longer, adding a touch of urgency to the story line. The complexity of a world on the brink of a war, the allegiances being formed, the glimpses at the past that are forming the future of the novel.. it was a good read! I think that's reason enough.
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Does it have to be a spell? I'd heart the ability to occulmens. If you're operating in the muggle world people aren't exactly going to know occlumacy, so you'd be free to use it. With discretion, mind, as how many people are really prepared to know what the world thinks of them? However, that has to come in handy when playing a round of poker, don't you think so?
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?: I'm half Gryffindor, half Slytherin as far as I could tell. I'd let the sorting had do the dirty work of actually sorting out which influence is the stronger.
14. Are you willing to accept cross-gendered votes/stamps?: I'm most comfortable in my own skin so I'd prefer being voted female.
