1. Name:Laura

3. Location: North HAven CT USA
4a. Three positive adjectives to describe yourself:bubbly, intelligent, tricky
4b. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: ticklish, (over)emotional, (melo)dramatic
5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?:Barcelona, as I speak the language(s) enough to get by and have relatives from whom I could rent space very cheaply. It's lovely, especially in the summertime.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: I can't remember usernames with numebers, at least not very easily. So I made one up that had none. I was in seventh grade.
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: Random Stay Home From School With No Religious or Familial Obligations Day. It seems self-explanatory.
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter):"The House Of Mirth" Edith Wharton, "Witches Abroad" Terry Prachett, "Danny the Champion of the World" Roald Dahl.
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school?Favorite? Chemistry. Best? English
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be? Why Tonks in particular for Remus?
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: Half-Blood Prince, becasue it saved the series for me. I had given up after OotP. (Well, not given up, but there was much dying and screaming and wailing and gnashing of teeth in torment as Sirius' character was destroyed and then mercifully killed, Draco was kept out of the picture for the entire novel, and harry was hormonal and apparently pregnant.)
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it be
and why?perfectly ironing clothes with the flick of a wand. It's too tedious to be bothered with.
13. What House do you honestly think you'd end up in, and why?: Well, not Ravenclaw because I don't work hard enough at being book-smart. I don't feel the Ravenclaw thirst for knowledge. Nor Hufflepuff, I
think, for the first reason above. My boyfriend informs me that I would "slap silly overidealistic Gryffindors," so I do believe that leaves me in Slytherin, which doesn't displease me, as I feel a sense of ambition and personal pride are not faults.
14. Are you willing to accept cross-gendered votes/stamps?: Sure, why not?
15. Anything else we should know?:I am editing a literary magazine. I have complete creative control because I am bad at delegating. It is somewhat painful but very satisfying.
16. Please post at least three clear pictures of yourself:
I'm not sure if I did the pics right, but I tried!
