4b. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: blunt (though sometimes it's necessary), emotionally distant, overanalyzing (I analyze EVERYTHING to the point that it ticks people off).
5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: Spain. I went there once and loved it. I’m nearly fluent in Spanish and would like to become completely fluent. Then again, I’m not picky. I love learning languages, so any country with a foreign language that I could learn.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: This is my community username; it came to me in a flash of inspiration, and sounded pretty.
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: I enjoy Christmas because I can be with my family. I also love the music.
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter): The Lord of the Rings (I’m a purist; that’s all one book), The Blue Sword, The Poisonwood Bible.
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school? I was best in English because I tend to be very nitpicky about grammar and proper writing. I loved History because it was telling stories. I’m now formally studying the performing arts, which I love (although I am not a natural performer).
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be? Hmmm….asking questions about future books seems unnecessary, so I’ll stick with present gripes: If the majority of spells in Harry Potter appear to be of Latin origin, why does Hermione not learn Latin and therefore get even more of a leg up on everything?
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: I liked the third book because it was the most well-plotted. There was just the right amount of foreshadowing to make the ending believable but not obvious.
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? The summoning charm, “accio ___”. I am always losing and forgetting objects. It would be pretty useful next time I have to spend 10 minutes looking for my keys when in fact they are in my pocket.
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?: Gryffinclaw, or Ravendor? I cannot decide ;)

15. Anything else we should know?: I am the only left-brained artistic person I know.
