I am watching Dr. Phil's "Mean Girls".
The "popular" girls...
The "Fab 4"...
Dr. Phil has 4 girls who label themselves the as the trendsetters of their school.
They claim that they could wear one outfit the next day and it's guaranteed that the next day someone will be wearing the exact same outfit.
They claim that they're on a pedastool because the school has placed them there.
They don't understand why the girls in their school attack them and call them fake and whatnot.
Are they setting themselves up for this?
No shit, Sherlock.
How the fuck do you expect to show up in school everyday with a new designer outfit and, God forbid, ever leave the side of either 3 of the "Fab 4"...and not be taunted?
It may not be fake...but it's sure as hell is superficial.
We associated superficiality with being fake.
You don't have an identity.
Your life revolves around fashion, accessories, boys, gossip and pop culture.
Shit no one really gives a rat's ass about.
There's no depth to any of that which I've just listed.
So if there is no depth to what you do...
...why should we believe there is any depth to who you are as a person?
It's really a bizarre concept.
If you show up everyday to school in designer apparel and never leave the 3 who do the same thing....
Aren't you treating this popularity thing more as a job rather than someone you are?
Do you feel as if...if you showed up to school wearing PJ bottoms and a tank that your rank in popularity may decline?
C'mon...how ridiculous is that?
One of these girls works two jobs to buy this shit.
That's all it is...it's shit.
Labels don't make a person.
A person made the label...but not vice versa.
And the way these girls flaunt what they have...
How can you not think that the label makes this person?
Everyone has to own up to their faults.
These girls won't...they're the victims. They've done no wrong.
Bullshit.
I would've clocked her right there for coughing up that pile of shit.
I'm willing to admit that I'm wrong in judging you because of how you present yourself and what you may do in your own spare time.
So why can't you just own up to the fact that maybe you've set yourself up for this?
I'm not saying you should change and shop at The Gap rather than at Juicy or Louie Vutton.
I'm not saying you should've primp yourself on the hour.
I'm not saying you shouldn't concern yourself with what others may be saying behind your back.
All I'm asking is that you quit portraying yourself as the victim and admit that you may have played a part in the reason why so many girls dislike you.
All I'm asking is that you quit using the excuse that others are jealous.
All I'm asking is for you to get a life outside the shopping malls.
All I'm asking is for you to pull that perfectly groomed head from out of your golden ass and get a clue.
Your fuckin' image is the problem.
You see a girl in school tattoos and provocative clothing...we naturally assume that she's loose.
We see a girl who wears a lot of black...we automatically want to assume that she's depressed and hates preps.
We see a guy in all black and a trench coat...we assume he's a possible threat to the school.
We see a girl in glasses who dresses as if she's going to a job interview...we assume she's either a brain or a teacher's pet.
We see a built guy in school with a sports jersey on...we assume that he's a brain dead jock.
We see a group of girls who never leave each others' sides and who live and breathe the latest fashions...we assume you're a stuck up bitch that needs a life outside of a price tag.
I'm not saying we're justified for thinking this way...cause we're not.
What I'm saying is that it's human nature to assume.
Now the "Fab 4" need to own up to this reality, stop bitching and whining, and prove their classmates wrong.
Trying to make themselves prettier...isn't helping the situation.
They can either stop caring...or, dare say, step out of the glamorous box and make friends outside of the "Fab 4".
It's just a petty fight between girls who's in it to win.
I'm quick to admit that if you strut by me wearing an outfit that needs insurance...I'm not going to think too highly of you.
I'm owning up to my own faults here.
I don't like what they're wearing...they don't like what I'm wearing....
Okay...so...we'll agree to disagree.
It's just stupid.
I've forgotten even why I began this entry...
Some just don't get it.
