I've talked about my general reaction to books about writing here before, so I won't do it again. This had more that made me go hmm than some others, which made for some nice reading. And her positive approach to writing (as opposed to those who talk about writing being like sweating blood) is much more in line with the way i feel about it. There's some good stuff here, but there's also a fair amount that I've heard a lot before. It's always a toss-up with writing memoir type books.
