Goth pool hall was goth. But also pool. Which should have been expected, admittedly, but somehow it never occurred to me that people could dress up as though they were going clubbing, listen to the exact same music they would listen to at a club, drink alcohol and neither dance nor socialize. Today I watched my sister blink back tears as she tried on a veil to go with her perfect wedding dress.  Sweet girl. I'm glad she found it. The day also forced me to admit that I never want to do that. Meanwhile my ambivalence about returning to Brandeis tomorrow has my mother worried. Rightly, I suppose.
