Dude. I've been so spaced I actually missed Wednesday. Not in the sense I.. I don't know in what sense. What I mean is, I sort of skipped it. >_>;; I honestly can't remember a damn thing about yesterday. I think I went to school, which means I probably got a nice seat on the bus and totally switched off during the ride. By my calculations, I would've had mechanics and discrete math classes, so it'd be perfectly natural to assume I slept through those. I probably just came home and slept some more, since I can remember a bit of last night - and let me tell you, it was not looking good. I'm coming down wiht the goddamn flu. The thing just spontaneously arises when least expected, it seems. No one around me is sick, it's not even cold out and it hasn't rained in a week. I had to walk under the goddamn hailstorm last month, for cry's sake, and I got away without so much as sneezing. And now? Well, let's just say I can barely type this. That's how bad things are looking.
You can just imagine what this did to me today. I insisted on going to school, since it takes more than me being near death to stop me from functioning. Oh yeah, bitches. That's how hardcore I am. Anyway. Even though I could barely stand, I went on to class, since I needed to hand in an assignment for my Logic Design class (for those unaware, this particular class is sort of an intro to microelectronics, hardware logic and other circuit stuff. I think, I haven't actually heard a word the professor has said during the past two months). Of course, I hadn't even started my assignment, and I figured I'd just be able to copy it off someone else's during Algebra A (aka, the subject from hell, we're all goners there, so I might as well use the time for other stuff like copying homework, right?), but as it turns out, barely anyone had done it. The class started with five people inside the classroom, no frickin joke. And they weren't even people from my course! All the comp students were scattered around the building trying to finish their homework, which means I wasn't able to copy mine. For one, I couldn't track anyone down. For two, the thing was about eight pages long, and there was just no way I was going to get all that done in an hour. For three, I was barely able to hold up a pen, so.. not gonna happen. Instead, I half-slept through class while listening to Disturbed on my psp. That part wasn't bad.
V. of course had to hassle me, and he started saying I was hung over/had gone to class drunk. And the best part? After a while, since he wouldn't stop pestering me, people actually started believing him. It didn't help that J. got into it and would keep asking me what bar I'd gone to, how many I'd had, what was it that had gotten me hammered off my face, and so forth. But it was all good. During Logic Design class we were supposed to solve a billion problems and hand in the answers at the end of the class, like we sometimes do, only J. and I have no idea what the hell the class is about to begin with, so we usually just copy everything our group gets done. This time, no one was getting anything done, so we just got to chat all during class. I do so love those precious times we have together. Okay, that sounded like sarcasm, but yeah, it actually made me feel a bit better. Drooling all over J. seems to have a therapeutic effect on me, go figure.
So, bottom line, today was about one big failure, but it could have gone worse. I get fucked up from head to toe when I'm sick, but I push through it ('cause I'm awesome, obv.), and thus here I am, having no idea what it is I'm writing. Just be thankful I'm on so much anti-inflammatory medication that I haven't had a fever since I was seven. Can you imagine what my usual rambling would be like if I were, on top of everything, delirious? By god. They're be no saving us.
