(no subject)
This is what 23 hours of HiLite work in 3 days does to a person:
Scott: *opens refrigerator and takes out grapes*
Me: Mmmm, grapes... nature's fruit.
After a moment of reflection, we both break out laughing
--10 minutes later--
Me: Man, these grapes are delicious, seriously.
Scott: Yeah, I was eating them ALL day this morning.
And then, we both lost it. I thought it was hilarious; I still do. When I relayed the story to Lauren, I was met with an awkward silence. I guess you just had to be there. The sad thing is, some people waste money on drugs and alcohol to sit around and think this kind of shit is funny. Who knew a seemingly impossible deadline and long hours staring at blank Apple laptop screens had the same effect.
But it's done, and it looks good, and now I can be a bum until Tuesday. Score.
