Does anyone have any advice on keeping close contact with someone outside Hogwarts during the school year? When the pair I'm trying to keep tabs on are Muggles and can't participate in spells to help

The Floo network can be a handy way of staying in contact with someone. Do they have a fireplace there?

You are right. I may need to establish a connection still to be made aware when I need to come, but that will help once I know.

Though, once they start traveling... Would Floo work if I know who I'm look for, but not where?

No, but maybe you could use a Tracking Charm?

That is another good possibility.

I would have to find a way to cast it and maintain it regularly, but once I am back at school, perhaps I could throw something together. Perhaps with a physical base...

Is there something that they keep on them at all times? That would be perfect for charming.

I would check with Professor Cierra about all of this - she's the charms expert.

I don't know about Uncle Monty, but my sister does wear a ribbon like I do...

But I would have to mail it back to her after speaking to Professor Cierra then, since I can't cast it here.

Unless Professor Rochefort would be kind enough to help with that, too.
