So hello again; am back home, and back to the old life in the shire of ham…tho have managed to turn over a new leaf tbh. My room is being decorated, and that’s made me want to sort thru all the crap that came out of it - something I’ve wanted to do for ages, but never had the time or motivation to do so. Well, now with 4 months or so for the summer, the motivation is strong and I reckon it could be fun, and at least it’ll help clear my mind of all the clutter.
The last few weeks of uni have been really hectic - After the may ball, the rents came to visit and brought the grandrents for a break, which was actually not too bad. The sun shone everyday too, which made it even better! Then I came home for a few days to go to my cousins wedding over in Kent. It was a beautiful, traditional occasion, with a lovely acoustic guitarist playing in the evening - all very chilled out and mellow.
On return to uni, it was straight into exams and the joy that brings…The last exam, I’d basically had enough, and probably didn’t try ahrd enough, but the feeling of freedom being within reach was too much. Also the pounding headache I had was driving me round the bend, so I had to get out. I did answer all the questions, but tbh, I’d rather just forget about exams in all, and try to actually live my life instead of being tested all the bloody time.
When they finally finished tho, the summer in Aber started, and we made up for lost time chilling out on the beach, day-tripping and having some wicked end of term house parties.
So, back home…plans for now are to have fun, and sort out the basics in my life before I move onto the bigger stuff.
the end.
