So glad February is over. That's all I have to say on that.
For a while I have been contemplating going vegetarian/vegan just to see what the fuss was all about. Last night I finally decided to go hardcore and do the vegan route. Today is my first day. We shall see how long I can do this.
Other news:
I haven't talked to my Father in 2 weeks due to Him being sick. I don't want to pester Him too much but the lack of our talks bums me out.
My daughter got her very first pet. A chicken she named "Angel". I have been slowly working on building a coop for Angel and the two I got to keep her company.
I discovered this thing called Market on the Move where I can get up to 60lbs of produce for $10. Today was my first time checking it out and I got a little overzealous in regards to jalapenos and roma tomatoes. I will most likely be giving at least half of each away.
Networking is exhausting.
I got studio lights and an awesome new lens that is perfect for taking pictures in dark settings and I have an extensive outdoor shoot with a model planned for late spring. (Both because it will be warmer at that time and it is going to take me some time to get all the props together.) I will be signing her on Tuesday.
Tomorrow I am testing my lighting for a party in April and then will be doing a short set with a teen so she will have pics to give to the Disney people she is involved with. I am going to try and see if I can talk her parents into allowing me to start her a portfolio and allow me to get her signed as well.
Right now I need to go get my pre-sale KFMA Day ticket so I dont have to pay full price when the time rolls around. Can't pass up the opportunity to get photos of The Killers and Cake and others.
And then... I will probably take a nap.
