Tomorrow is going to be busy.
Early in the morning, I get to have a ton of tests done.. and after that, I am going to go to Kindergoth's school to raise some MAJOR hell.
Today my 6 year old daughter came home sobbing. Why? It was because one of her classmates was having a birthday party and while passing out cupcakes, he refused to give her one. When confronted by the teacher, the teacher just told her "Well you can't have one if he doesnt want to give it to you". Every other kid in her class had one. My daughter was the only one who did not.
I'm sorry, in high school, jr. high.. fine. But she is only 6 years old. And the way the teacher responded went against TUSD policy. Not to mention, this teacher has been giving my daughter a hard time from about the middle of the school year on.
I'm glad that school will be out for her next week... but part of me wants to just keep her home until the very last day.
(yes, there are underlying issues here, the affects this teacher has had on my daughter are not good at all... but these things i don't talk about in my lj because.. well because i doubt i have anyone who could give me advice on the matter anyway.)
