Part of me wants to write an entry that'd be an epic takedown of a former online friend who turned out to not really be one. I know I could describe this person devastatingly, and convey how this person makes so many people go "huh?" from seeming genuinely not to understand other people's reactions to anything. I thought I'd read this person well, then it seemed like I hadn't, then things clicked and I realized No, I'd read this person VERY well years ago, I just ignored what this person was like. Communication got hung up because of this person's hangups, and because I was avoiding the "Huh?" reactions I'd kept having related to this.
In fiction, this person would be fascinating. In reality, this person may as well be an alien, and it's bad to feel that way about friends. Or even people you just think are friends.
This was rambling and only vaguely on-topic, at best. But I think I needed to get that out.
Guess what I'm saying is, people shouldn't be alien to each other.
I hope you haven't minded me working through this here. (I'm definitely not writing it on my journal.)
