Every passion borders on the chaotic, but the collector's passion borders on the chaos of memories.
I have a bountiful amount of energy so I have been running around like a maniac. I decided to go ahead and make V-day dessert. (It's going to take the form of a home-made red velvet cake in the shape of, what else, a heart.) Later I will be at the in-laws to see exactly what day they are 'celebrating'. They are retired so any holiday no matter how mundane is an excuse to have us over for dinner and give presents. Who am I to argue?? I merely do a little something special for my daughter. After the cake is out of the oven I will be working on finishing my pic requests.
The 29th will be my first pre-surgery group meeting and this Monday I will be scheduling my psychiatric evaluation. You know.. to make certain I'm not crazy. I know I'm not but I guess I need a piece of paper stating that fact. Just like I need a piece of paper stating that my brain does, in fact, work.
Anyway... That's about all the news I have for now. I know. No deep thoughts and not much humor to be had. Nothing really to bitch about either. I have become rather boring.
Oh.. except for the fact that my non-believing MIL caught my daughter watching something 'unseen' with her eyes and laughing hysterically at this 'unseen' entity. MIL freaked and poured a glass of wine and then started questioning me about children being able to see spirits. It was a rather interesting moment.
