Remember me?

Oh my god, its been so long.

Well, I will try to catch you up in a short fashion.

* We got the house, but because the guy was so worried we would become "squatters", we dont have any carpet. The tile floors are asbestos. We should have the carpet in by sometime this week. If not, Im going to home depot to pitch a fit.

The back yard is fabulous. It has two storage sheds, one which Ecamer is turning into a "shop" where he can work on building/fixing random things. The other we are just going to store stuff in. There are lots for trees, and 3 or 4 are citrus. One of them is a lime tree, ^_________^ I love limes. It also came with a washing machine which means no more weekends spent at the inlaws. I can finally do what I want cause I can wash clothes at home.

Kindergoth wanted a purple room "with a green roof" so I painted and got that room ready first. Its smaller then her room at the apartment but she loves it. I got tinkerbell wall clings that glow in the dark and glow-in-the-dark glitter stars for her ceiling. Her closet has sheer purple curtains with large sequins instead of doors. (The doors were those metal ones on tracks and I hate them so we tore them down and are using them as shelves in the "shop") She loves it. I will have to remember to take pics when we fully settle in.

The kitchen is very dated. We have a counter stove top the barely works and a dishwasher that has seen better days. We want to update the kitchen but because the seller backed down on buying the carpet, we have to put if off for go knows how long. The oven works a little too well so we really watch what we cook in there. Lately I have just been cooking food on our baby grill.

* We also found a baby mockingbird 4 days after moving in. Such drama with that little thing. But its growing big and strong and should fly by the end of the week.. I hope.

* Today, Kindergoth's teacher from last year is stopping by. She wants to adopt me. ^___^ Which considering all I have been putting up with when it comes to Ecamer's sister, is a great thing.

Anyway, I still have a ton to do but I will try to update more often so you all know Im not dead.
