It took a while (most of the day), but I was able to motivate myself to completely clean the kitchen and bathroom and finish the tatami room. I got a Christmas package ready for mailing, too. I used my kotatsu for the first time this season, and it sucked me in. I'm still awake and in the tatami room because of it. Silly heat...

I was reading an article about Comiket and the history of doujinshi, and there was one part that made me laugh.

"In 1999, Nintendo sued the creator of a doujinshi featuring Pokemon in 'unwholesome' ways."

I don't even want to think about what those Pokemon were doing. I fear eternal scaring of my mind if I think too deeply about it.

Thanks for the Christmas card and the cd. It was nice looking in my mailbox today and finding them. (Though I am surprised that it took so long for them to get here as I usually receive mail within a week...) The picture on the card was a good one of you, and I'm looking forward to listening to the cd.

I searched through my LJ to find something I had posted (which I found quickly), and I ended up reading through the first two years of my journal. It's amazing how much I had forgotten and how many memories it brought back. It was interesting seeing what I considered important and what I wanted to remember. Had English School's Christmas party today.
Party went almost an hour longer than planned.
Am exhausted.
