Just your run-of-the-mill linkspam.

Not much going on right now, other than trying to get stuff together for D*C. I do need to clean out my bookmarks, though, so here's a linkspam!

I haven't seen her blog before, but I'll have to add it to my RSS feeds. :)

So many good links.

I went to Blais' Flip Burger Boutique a few weeks ago. He's definitely on the contrived food team. FYI: Have the fries & key lime milkshake. You won't go wrong.

My BFF was in town & when we were downtown she mentioned the Westin. I hadn't realized the windows weren't back up yet. She'd read an article about it.

Al & Mary Joyner's story is a testament to Flo Jo's love. Beautiful, touching, and hopeful.

Thanks for sharing.

Ah, cool re: Flip. Was just talking about it with a friend who's coming down for D*C. We might try going there this weekend.

I'd wondered about the Westin, but I remembered hearing that fixing the windows would be expensive. Didn't realize they would cost THAT much.

And yeah, I was spellbound by Flo Jo's story. Made the mistake of reading the talkbacks on espn.com, full of people griping about steroids, etc. Whatever. It's just such an amazing article, and she was a wonderful woman.

FYI: We shared burgers. We got 2 each. They are tiny. Think Krystals, but a bit thicker. So be prepared to try a couple of different ones.

Speaking of how many people are in space right now, my daughter and I caught sight of the ISS/Space Shuttle while sitting on our back porch right before her bedtime. It was cool! Made even cooler when we realized that the time we saw it was when they were doing their first space walk of the mission.

Hmm. After reading that article on sci-fi TV post Star Trek, I rather wish someone would do the same thing for UK tv.

Ugh only 17% -- 2 out 12! Why are their faces so different from their voices? Thanks for the links!
