Friday minutiae.
1. I am so very, very tired. I'm having a marvelous school year -- perhaps my best ever -- but it's exhausting! (Oh, and to my friends with the DonorsChoose gift certs: still no news on when the proposal will be approved. *sigh*)
2. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS! Whee! I've already watched the premiere online, but I'll still be tuning in tonight. Sepinwall has an interview with Jason Katims, which references "A Bad Thing" that happens near the end of tonight's episode, but isn't spoilery otherwise. Just in case, you might want to save it until after you watch. And Variety has an amazing essay on the family relationships on FNL. Coach/MrsCoach OTP!
3. Also via Mo Ryan: Two preview scenes from next week's Bionic Woman, with some great Katee stuff.
4. NYMag Translates HBO's Apology Letter to David Milch Fans. I didn't even watch Deadwood, but I'm indignant (and giggling) on its behalf. They also have a funny bit of spec on who will be the J.R. Ewing of Dirty Sexy Money. I'm going with Brian, just because he's so deliciously awful.
5. I quite enjoyed this essay on the rise of basic cable.
6. Seth Rogan (meh) and Spoon (whee!) will be on this week's SNL. I might actually watch for the first time in years.
7. As a prelude to The Golden Age, Newsweek asks why we're so fascinated by Queen Elizabeth I.
8. Ooh, just as I was about to hit "post", we got the first set of BSG promo pics from "Razor"! (Thanks again, D.) I've uploaded all of them to my LJ gallery. Since some of them are spoilery, I'll put the non-spoilery Pilots ones behind the cut-tag. All photos are credited to Carole Segal/SciFi, with specific credit on the gallery pages. :)
