The pretty... and the not-so-pretty.

After saying yesterday that I suck at sewing.... I MADE A PURSE! And it looks gorgeous. So awesome, in fact, that I almost put the pic out here in the open so I could show off. Then I decided it was too big for friends-pages, and anyway, posting un-cut photos is rather annoying. Therefore, click on the cut-tag for ( the cutest quasi-boho patchwork bag ever. )

Thanks! Hmm, if you're efficient, you could probably make it in an evening or two. ;)

Thank you! I'm relieved to have finally made something that turned out halfway-decent. ;)

Katie*Con at the Mall! OMG. But only if we get to take Jamie with us too. We could dress them so nicely. Le sigh. I had the same reaction to the yellow shoes. I was all "hello, Katee! Rocking that dress, yes you are. . . oh my god." Remember when she wore that black dress and the black pointy toed stilletos? She should just wear those shoes all the time.

And yet, still, my girl crush grows and grows.

GAH. LJ double-posted then deleted both the replies. Oh, well. You also noticed the butt grab? Hee!

See, I think Mary once again trumps all the ladies in her fashion choices. Tricia has an amazing figure, of course, but that green dress is just not my thing. As for Katee - hair is great, she's just glowing, and the blue even flatters her skin tone, but I have to say I'm so not a fan of the empire waist style!

However, in defense of Katee's shoe choice - and I'm not saying I would do it myself, personally - the electric hues are apparently a trend right now. All the designers are coming out with hot pink/purple/cobalt blue/yellow looks.

Either way, I would definitely be up for shoe shopping with la Sackhoff! ;0P

I'm not opposed to the yellow shoes in theory (or in practice.) But pairing them with the bright blue dress? Nope. Nuh-huh. Not my thing at all. Guess I just love empire waists because they're one of the few cuts that are somewhat flattering with my big boobs and significant belly. ;)

All the designers are coming out with hot pink/purple/cobalt blue/yellow looks.

Gods, I'm flashing back to middle school. What's next? The black-with-gold-painted-pattern shirt and black stirrup pants inspired by "Walk Like an Egyptian" that I bought at Express in '87? *sigh*

Green flip flops trump yellow quasi-jellies.
