Welcome to the wonderful world of foilers.

Ah, summer. Ten weeks of me posting to LJ way too often. Funny how I used to post as many as 5-6 times daily back when I joined LJ years ago. Now I feel guilty about posting twice in one day. ;)

Remember the BSG spoiler last month that had everyone going crazy? I'm just surprised it took RDM this long to cotton to it; then again, if you're going the fake-spoiler route, you should probably not choose one that would have half the fandom swearing not to tune in for S3.

According to koenigrules tonight (he's correct more often than not):

Kara and Leoben are indeed sleeping together and probably shacking up, too. Leoben is brainwashing her. We don't yet know exactly how they first got together.

Kara and Leoben DO NOT have a baby. There is a plot involving a human baby (not a hybrid like Hera), but no info on who the parents are, and it's completely unrelated to the Kara/Leoben storyline.

Dualla does not die anytime soon; the actor is signed to a five-year contract (though that doesn't necessarily mean she or any of the other actors with longterm contracts will actually survive the show. ;)

3.04 will take place partly on one of the Cylon basestars.

My speculation:

I suspect Kara goes with him because of the Resistance's infiltration plans, but she gets in over her head. We saw in F&B that he can easily get under her skin and fuck with her head. If the power balance is shifted this time from her to him, brainwashing wouldn't be difficult at all, even for a strong-willed (but very impressionable) woman like Kara.

The baby must be Tyrol and Cally's. They're the only plausible answer, given that nobody else looked pregnant, and we know of the 2-4 month time jump in the premiere. By then she would've given birth, and is apparently in jail at some point. Tyrol and Anders are off blowing shit up in 3.01, so the baby would need a caretaker. Plus, I can see Tyrol and Cally choosing a name like "Kayce". ;)

I'm also curious if someone besides (or instead of?) Ellen dies in those first few episodes. The Ellen spoiler has been out for several weeks, but in the Ausiello interview David Eick made a point of threatening horrific retribution to anyone who spoiled the big character death. He'd have to realize that us spoilerwhores already knew about it. Then again, I think the interview occurred a few weeks ago. So.

Y'know, one of the many frustrating things about the stupid extended hiatus is that we'll know about most of the season before the premiere even airs. I read spoilers because of my profound lack of willpower, but having so much longterm info before seeing the results feels... strange. Even for a spoilerwhore like me.

Much love to greycoupon for braving the Koenigrules chat and message boards so that I don't have to. ;)

Oh, and I read tonight that Katee will no longer be attending the MT&R panel on Friday. Makes me feel a teensy bit better that I can't go! Too bad, though, because they must be filming the head-shaving thing soon, and I wanted to see photos. Alas.
