Pipe Breach--Not Good, Last Class Session-Very Good
nightwolfwriter and the daughter unit discovered the copper tubing that goes into our refrigerator for water and ice service somehow got a hole in it.
We got the valve turned off where the tubing is connected to the main water pipe in the basement, but there's a big mess down there.
It's not as bad as it could have been, I suppose. I know it isn't the best of catch containers, but my contractor's toolbox was almost directly under the leak and caught a lot of the water before it spread.
At least we're getting out of class early tonight. This is my last live session for Malicious Software. I have until next week to do the optional lab if I so choose. I'm sitting pretty good in the class so at this point, I don't know if I'll choose or not. ;-)
Well the prof is winding down now and giving us his thanks and best wishes. Guess I should wander down and see if the spousal unit needs any assistance since I got out of class early. Hope he says no so I can turn in. I had a nap this afternoon, but I'm still bushed. Can't get along on 4 hours sleep.
Oh, one more thing, I've heard back from most of my team mates and they think the paper is okay. Now all it has to do is pass muster for nightwolfwriter. I'm scared. Oh, and I have to dig up a couple of extra sources so we can have the even dozen required. As it is now, we're one short. *grumble* Didn't notice that in my quasi-stupor state when I sent it off early this morning. ;-)
