Chicago has ended with 5 of 6 shows sold out, tears all around and flowers to everyone. McCallum musicals are over. My Stage-Management career at McCallum is over. I feel like some large chapter of my life has ended and i'm a little sad ( Read more... )

...and of course reno would avoid every picture ever taken. hah.

man, to think it all over, even though i wasn't part of the actual show itself (other than putting a bit of work into the set), really just makes me want to cry. i can't help feeling so utterly confused by the idea of losing everyone.

i'm putting in an app for the last show. still, so many seniors have said they won't work that show. this really was the last.

i don't know what i'm going to do after graduation. i feel like i'm losing everyone... all over again.

funny how it has this effect, its truely sad to see it end. even threw all the ups and downs, its still indescribable. though i never did stage managing, and the one time i was ASM i ended up being cast. it changes you. the whole of it, and once that last curtain drops, its over, there is no more. all you can do is walk out thoes theater doors, rembering every thing that you did to make a difrence, and knowing that your leaving quite posibly the largest part of your life so far behind you, listening to the echos of...

good show... good show... good show... good show... good show...

dont ever forget it, any of it.
