"When did we decide on Kenny? We need to start voting on names."

I somehow sprained my right index finger yesterday. I don't know how. I went to bed the previous night perfectly fine (even did a crossword), then woke up and went to ritually crack my knuckles when suddenly THAR WUZ PAIN! I can bend it and all but can't put too much pressure. Trying to cut my chicken dinner was a feat. My only guess is i POINTED at something really STERNLY in my sleep.

We had free HBO last weekend so i got to see the first three episodes of Generation Kill. I love soldier oriented things. You guys know me. Hierarchy and brotherhood? I'm there. Complete sucker. I also loved how real it was. From the different archetypes who join the army, to the typical boys-in-large-groups humor, to the subtle ways guys bond, to the real sense of dread felt when something went FUBAR. Oh, and Lee Tergesen. Love you, baby; turn up more often kthnx. Of course HBO is a bastard tease and i couldn't watch the other eps the following night without purchasing their shit package.

Burn Notice: Dude. What was the eldest son's name on Home Improvement? Brad? Brad got dead. My inner-child stared in horror. Not cool. I mean, the ep was cool but that's not cool. Ya feelin' me?

Atlantis: Hey, i'm actually not ranting this week. Teyla, why are you so awesome? We have a Wraith named Kenny now. Only a matter of time before he and Todd completely screw us. Beginning seemed a bit rushed to get to the main event. A baby and baby-daddy should have made Teyla's choice more difficult than it was. Also was never really clear if they gave her some reverse-retrovirus and exactly what part of that procedure needed surgery. But, ya know, the rest was great. I always warm at the guys' brother-like protectiveness.

Me have headache and will go sleep now.
