the point of the song would have to be so long
I've not posted on here in a long time. Lots of stuff has happened:
1. I had my PGCE interview at Keele University. A week and a half later (Saturday, to be more precise), I got my rejection letter. Next on the list: London Metropolitan.
2. Mike and I went to Nottingham for our friend Sam's birthday during the first weekend in December. It was fun, even if I did feel exhausted. Ken is now my favourite person ever (apart from Mike, obviously). He fell asleep at one point, and later on in the night, drank beer from a 2 pint jug. We also went ice skating (well...Lisa, Jaynie, Ken, Rachel and I did). I spent the entire time clinging to the side because I am lame and didn't want to fall over. Ken got knocked over by a tweenage girl and a 6 year old helped him up, hahaha. Rachel fell too, and got an impressive scar, that she spent the rest of the night showing off.

3. I was supposed to have a Mastermind audition this week, and I was supposed to go to Leeds with Alison to watch Countdown being filmed, but my plans of fun were all scuppered...
4. ....the reason being that I have a new temporary job, and money must come before gameshows, because I am skint. I'm working for Asda - the company that, at the age of 18, I swore I'd never work for again. 3 years later, I'm back. But in their head office in Leeds now, as an Administrator. I get to do data entry instead of stacking shelves, it's much better this time round. I'm actually quite enjoying the work, the only thing I don't like is getting up at 6am and getting stuck in traffic going both ways. On my second day there, I got forced into the Christmas spirit of things and was made to wear a Santa hat and get my photo taken in the booth. The photographic evidence is thus:
Now the larger version of my mugshot adorns the wall alongside everyone else in my department. Hmm.
This job only lasts till Christmas though. I really really need something more permanent.
5. I also really need to go to ATP Weekend One next year. Dirty Three! Nick Cave! Low! Joanna Newsom! It's worth it for them alone. I just need to find someone to share a chalet with...actually much harder than it sounds. Bah.
6. The Blow are ace. Please listen to Fists Up and Parentheses. Now, fuckers.
7. The manga 20th Century Boys is ace too. Even better than Monster....if that's possible.
8. Oh, almost forgot. I got my second lot of blood test results back, and I'm anaemic, so I have to take stupid tablets. Still, at least I have a medical excuse for being tired now. Ha.
