I am seam ripper, hear my tiny popping noises

Well, the assembly step I was worrying about turns out to have been a justified concern. I ended up hacking something together in one corner, and I was within about half an inch of being right on the next corner, but close is only good enough in horseshoes and hand-grenades. So I need to rip it and try to resew it. Bah.

The problem is that I'm attempting to match stuff in several dimensions at once, and matching two is about my max, inherently. I'll figure it out, but it's going to take weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. But then, I will be done with the top!

Once I finish the top, both quilts hibernate for a while. I need about $150 to buy backing fabric for both of them, and batting for one of them.

But I have all the material I need for K and Kay's quilt tops, and I only need another yard to finish the top of Alpha's.

Oh, and I need to make sil's vest.
