How's my new job going?

I am at the stage of the job where it's like tech writing, but with madlibs. I don't know what the words mean, or what the context is, but I can construct perfectly grammatical sentences with them. It's a known state, but tedious*. However, I have hope that Monday I will get out from under the release notes, which are all I've been doing this month, and actually get to work on the REST of the documentation suite.

*I find it fascinating that this is a word our ESL UI designer uses. I can't imagine how much studying and asking you have to do to get down to the point where you learn the distinction between "tedious" and "boring".
