Stuff which is lacking in analysis

I was most vilely unwell for part of it. We will pass over that.

I did manage to measure and hem Baz's pants for his skating costume so sil could do dress rehearsal with him. I also mostly-finished his peter pan shirt, although I need to do something about the collar. Tonight, late coaching for him. I need to make cookies. Kay goes to bed on time, though. Yar. Tomorrow, sil works most of the day, and then he and Baz have one last day of rehearsal. Friday, Baz and a parent have to be at the rink at 8:30, ready to go. He performs his freestyle routine at 9:45. Then I probably go to work. Saturday morning, he has to be there at 7, for an 8:30 performance. We'll probably stick around until the awards ceremony at 11. At 5:30 or so, the world-class skaters are on, and we think it would be nice if he could see what he was aiming for.

Sunday, church, and then I'm going to go help a friend pack to move.

I finished the latest Weber Honorverse book (Storm from the Shadows). It cracked me up. You know those people who claim that oops, the penis and vagina just SLIPPED and got together, no intentionality? Manticore is totally having that. "LOL, sorry! Axidentle impeerializm!"Also, a lot of people die. I find the Honorverse books infinitely less annoying than the "What these people need is a reformation" books. I am reading Heyer's The Nonesuch at lunch, but then I will be out of book, which is not a pleasant prospect for my bus ride home. Must do something about that.

At work, today is release day, so I am making sure that my 11 or so documents get put where they belong. This is a process that takes more than a day, and would be aided by people actually reviewing the release notes like they said they would. My release manager said if no one got back to me by 9 last night, I should assume they are good. But realistically, if I do that, I'll just end up redoing them. Fuck that noise. I will wait until they get it together enough to do approvals.

Lunch!
