One of the interesting effects of having a DVR/tivo-like thing is that the summers are paradoxically longer. See, I would never have time to watch shows live, on the nights they are actually on, but I do store them up and get to them, decently and in good order. Life is better.

Cane is FalconCrest meets the Godfather, with Jimmy Smits in the Al Pacino role; the willing but reluctant head of the Duque Rum/Sugar cane dynasty in S. Fla. Worth a couple of viewings to see if you appreciate the characters/plot.

On the other hand, Life is definately on my must watch list.

Have you seen the Cold Case with the transsexual victim? Saddest Cold Case ever.
